Iron Supplies for Jack: Delivery and Quest Checks
full game 1.006 · Updated
On this page
Workshop Hours asks you to fulfill the iron order and then talk to Jack in the Town Warehouse. Supply: Iron, loose Iron Ingots and Supply: Iron Tools are different items. Stock shown on the board is not the same as a finished order.
FIND YOUR NEXT CHECK
Where is your iron delivery stuck?
Separate making the supply crate, finishing the order, and speaking to Jack.
YOUR NEXT STEP
What does the order currently show?
Available stock and a finished order are different states.
ContinueFollow what you observe
Changing an earlier answer clears the later branch. Your observations guide the next check; they do not prove a single cause.
What does the order currently show?
Available stock and a finished order are different states.
Read all possible checks
- I need to make the supply: Use Supply: Iron, not loose Iron Ingots or Supply: Iron Tools. Open the recipe and its preparation list.
- I have the crate, but it is not counted: Check the warehouse delivery storage. Next check
- The board counts it, but I cannot finish: Check whether the specific iron order has finished, not just whether goods are present. Next check
- I have not checked the board: Read the active order and its state before making or delivering more.
Is the crate on the Town Warehouse’s supply pallets?
Order resolution checks town pallets in the Town Warehouse and Warehouse Cellar, rather than arbitrary nearby chests.
Read all possible checks
- Yes: Check the specific order state after delivery. Next check
- No / it is in my inventory: Place the correct supply on the warehouse’s supply pallets, then check the order again.
- Not sure which storage: Identify the supply-pallet storage in the warehouse; a filled ordinary chest does not prove a delivery.
Has the iron order finished?
A stocked warehouse or partially counted order does not itself unlock the completion dialogue.
Read all possible checks
- The order is finished: Check Jack’s Workshop Hours dialogue. Next check
- It is still unfinished: Check that the active order requests Supply: Iron and that its required delivery has been resolved. Do not treat stock availability as completion.
- I only know that stock is counted: Check the order’s finished state before repeating the delivery.
Can you use the “Town Supplied” dialogue with Jack?
The quest text sends you back to Jack in the Town Warehouse after fulfilling the order.
Read all possible checks
- Yes: Use that dialogue and check the quest log afterward. The guide cannot mark the in-game quest complete.
- No, although the order is finished: Record Workshop Hours, the finished iron order and Jack’s dialogue options for a bug report. Repeated deliveries are not a verified remedy.
- My current task is different: Check your current quest’s exact objective; this path covers Workshop Hours only.
One batch: Supply: Iron
For the ordinary woodworking-bench route. This is a recipe budget, not confirmation of task completion. Count inputs available for this operation.
Make the requested supply
The preparation list above uses the ordinary woodworking-bench recipe. Check the linked workstation and its own requirements before crafting. A factory supply line uses a different recipe; do not combine their material lists.
Check delivery before returning to Jack
- Match the active order to Supply: Iron.
- Use the supply pallets in the Town Warehouse or Warehouse Cellar. An arbitrary nearby chest or an item in your inventory is not a completed warehouse delivery.
- Check whether the specific order has finished, rather than merely showing available goods.
- Return to Jack in the Town Warehouse and look for Town Supplied.
If the finished order does not unlock the dialogue
Record the active Workshop Hours objective, order state and Jack’s available dialogue. Include your game build and platform when reporting the problem. Repeatedly supplying more iron is not a verified fix, and a player report alone does not establish the cause in your save.
For missing materials use storage and transport checks. Return to other stuck situations.
