Graveyard Quality and Grave Rating

See why a grave's score changes and estimate the effect of its corpse and grave items.

On this page

White skulls limit how much quality a corpse and the items on its grave can add. Red skulls reduce that contribution. Other grave and cemetery objects can change the final score.

What changes a grave's score?

Start with the quality values of the items you placed on the grave. Red skulls reduce their contribution; white skulls set its upper limit. A grave can still gain quality from other parts of its setup, so the number below is one part of the total, not the grave's final rating.

Corpse and grave items estimate

Add the quality values of the items on this grave, then enter its skull counts. If a value is hard to find in your save, check the item reference. Use the result to compare changes before adding another item. We built this estimate from the grave scoring rules in the game data; it has not been checked against a live save.

Estimated contribution from corpse and grave items: 0

Use the result

If adding an item does not raise this estimate, the white skull limit may already have been reached. Improving the corpse can raise that limit. The cemetery total also includes other objects, so compare the estimate with the score shown in your save.

What to check next

If you are waiting for another body, check the donkey delivery rules. To plan sales after burial, read merchant stock and prices. The corpse reference lists recorded parts and burial rewards.
